Programmes are anchored in the Rwenzori Sub-region of Uganda and connect to district and regional referral hospitals. Karucan supports:
- Private health facilities — TB screening and diagnostic quality
- Workplace & satellite clinics — fishing landings, mines, prisons
- Cross-border outreach at the Kasese / DRC Congo border
- Community-own resource persons for referral and follow-up
- Mobile-phone tools for case reporting and adherence support
